Can anyone recommend any self-help books on anxiety, OCD, obsessive/intrusive thoughts? Or CBT workbooks? Preferably books which offer advice/solutions, rather than just information. aaannd relax! #InvisibleExhibition is aaallll packed away. Thank you so much to everyone who visited or supported us from afar. This was myself & Amy’s first venture into curating & at times it’s been stressful, tiring, anxiety inducing, & a VERY steep learning curve but ultimately we’re so glad we took the leap! We have been so overwhelmed by everyone’s wonderful supportive comments. Thank you so so much to the artists who took a chance on us & became a part of it all. Such a talented bunch, with such important messages to convey. I hope you have enjoyed being a part of it & got a lot out of it & I hope we can continue to support you & perhaps work together in the future. We wanted this show to provide a platform for artists who use their work to express the more difficult & hidden sides to themselves, but also we wanted it to raise awareness & open up discussion. We’ve had - & heard - so many conversations this week about mental & physical health. Not only between artists & with visitors who found us online, but with visitors who happened to be passing & decided to pop in. I’d like to think that everyone left feeling that it was ok to talk about or express their issues. I felt incredibly vulnerable showing such honest work & I was worried how it would be received but I have been inspired people’s honesty & if it made at least 1 person feel less alone then I’m happy.
